Creating Apps
Apps in Juice Machine represent your iOS, macOS, or other Apple platform applications. Each app gets a unique webhook URL for receiving events from App Store Connect.
Creating Your First App
- Log in to your Juice Machine dashboard
- Click Apps in the navigation
- Click New App
- Enter your app's name (e.g., "My iOS App")
- Click Create App
Your app is now created and ready to receive webhooks. You'll see your unique webhook URL on the app details page.
App Settings
App Name
The name is used to identify your app in the dashboard and in notifications. You can change it at any time from the app settings.
Enabled/Disabled
You can disable an app to temporarily stop processing webhooks. When disabled:
- Incoming webhooks will be rejected
- No events will be recorded
- No deliveries will be attempted
Webhook URL
Each app has a unique webhook URL. This URL should be kept secret and configured in App Store Connect.
Optional: customer user lookup
Each app can optionally point at a URL of your choice that Juice Machine calls during enrichment of any event carrying an appAccountToken. The response merges into the notification so your team sees the customer's name, plan, dashboard link, and any other fields you choose to return — in every Slack/Teams/Discord/email/etc. message. See the customer user lookup docs for the schema, auth, and a sample endpoint you can point at to try it without writing any backend code.
Regenerating the Webhook Token
If you believe your webhook URL has been compromised, you can regenerate the token:
- Go to your app's settings page
- Click Regenerate Token
- Confirm the action
- Copy the new webhook URL
- Update the URL in App Store Connect
Warning: Regenerating the token will immediately invalidate the old URL. Webhooks sent to the old URL will be rejected.
Deleting an App
To delete an app:
- Go to the app's settings page
- Scroll to the bottom
- Click Delete App
- Confirm the deletion
Deleting an app will permanently remove all associated events, deliveries, and destinations.
Plan Limits
The number of apps you can create depends on your plan:
| Plan | Max Apps |

| Starter | 2 |
